The Museum of Traditions “Gli arnesi di una volta”, housed in the charming setting of the former Carmelite Convent in Piazza Matteotti, in the heart of the historic center of Modica. Founded in 2016, it manages a private collection with thousands of untraceable finds that tell everyday life in craft workshops and homes in our ancestors. The exhibition is divided into ancient crafts (barber, tailor, shoemaker, carriage, blacksmith, carpenter, etc.) and household themes (bedroom, kitchen, games, etc.). An authentic testimony to the history of work in peasant civilization.
